Women2Win held a private screening of The Iron Lady with ConHome on Monday the 9th of January. Eve Pollard led a panel discussion after the film which entailed Lord Tebbit, Baroness Bottomley, John Whittingdale MP and her official biographer Charles Moore sharing very strong and very different opinions about the film.
As a politician, I’m often asked ‘what’s the point of politics?’. A lot of people say it’s about service. But, for me, it’s more than that. Politics is a mission. A mission to change lives, to stand up for people who work hard and do the right thing, to help people to help themselves and their families.
