The event is aimed at people starting their political journey who would like to know more about how to become an Association Officer, Councillor, Police and Crime Commissioner, Public Appointment or Member of Parliament.
The President of the Conservative Women’s Organisation, Niki Molnar, invited W2W members to join them for a short (10 minute) ceremony and wreath-laying at 11.30am sharp to celebrate Emmeline's birthday on Thursday July 14th. This is an annual event that was originally made possible by a legacy left to the CWO by the Pankhurst family, although it's now become a proud CWO tradition.
In 2016, Women2Win are taking part in several regional events to support women all over the UK. We aim to encourage as many women as possible to consider roles in public life. The Forum is being held at the Appleby Park Hotel, Atherstone Road, Appleby Magna, near Tamworth, DE12 7AP. The hotel is just off Junction 11 of the M42 on the A444. The nearest train station is Tamworth.
