Our event was a huge success, the feedback has been wonderful and we are so pleased to have supported so many women on their journeys into the House of Commons and look forward to helping many more. Some of these women were in the audience, now as MPs among them Virginia Crosbie, Gillian Keegan, Miriam Cates, Nicki Aiken, Dehenna Davison and Cherilyn Mackrory who all asked questions on behalf of supporters who were watching at home. Guy Opperman, our previous co Chair who has worked so hard supporting Women2Win over many years, also asked a question.
Lord Parkinson gave a fascinating history of women in the Conservative party, featuring many of Baroness Jenkin family members! He then interviewed co founder and former Prime Minister Theresa May about her experiences about female Conservatives in Parliament and what can be done.
Thanks to Baroness Jenkin and Mark Harper our co Chairs and special thank you to everyone joined in from home. Lastly a thank you to everyone who made a donation, or bid on one of the brilliant Silent Auction and to the many of you who did both.
We'll be releasing some clips for anyone who missed it so watch this space!
