The report outlines the gender equality and women’s empowerment goal that VSO believes should be established by the Post 2015 development framework. It identifies the case for and the specifics of our proposed target on women’s influence in politics and public life and the indicators which would enable us to hold governments to account for progress in this area.
On Tuesday last week over 70 returned VSO and Restless Development Volunteers came to Westminster to learn more about the campaign and meet with their MPs to seek their support- we were delighted that 45 of them were able to meet with their MPs on the day.
