The latest in the Parliament Project's ‘How To Stand…’ series of online workshops:
" We want to demystify the process of standing for the party, with a focus on standing for Parliament but with reference to standing for local Government. Learn more about the language used in the party internally and the steps you need to take to put yourself forward for selection as a candidate. We want to highlight the support available to you on your journey from inside the party at Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ), Conservative Women’s Organisation (CWO), Women 2 Win and our other programmes at The Parliament Project. Most importantly, we want to support you to define your own next steps in standing for elected office.
Hear from Nickie Aiken MP and Annie Wells MSP about their experiences being selected and elected as MP & MSP respectfully. We will also be joined by Tori Peck, Head of Women’s Engagement at CCHQ, Charlotte Carew-Pole from Women 2 Win and Rushi Millns, Deputy National Chair of Conservative Women’s Organisation who will share details of support is available within the party and in these associate organisations for women who are interested in putting themselves forward for selection for local Council, Westminster or Hollyrood.
